This atypical value of nothing highlights an important aspect of the alexb4mayor campaign: candidate alex barrella is not for corporate interests in any way.
By not selling my body to establishment donative-forces & big industry who have been purchasing elections for decades; alex barrella demonstrates his/my commitment to remain for the interests of the people. Although this candidate does operate a patreon page; it is one with zero donations ever with all content free & although this candidate does operate a threadless shop; all the items promoting alex's political interests are set up in a way where there is $0 profit to alex barrella (& it still manages to be pretty expensive because threadless sickly seeks profits). Candidate alex barrella is untainted by grotesque shows of flaunting multi-million dollar wealth hauls
Since this campaign is just me and whoever is within earshot at any given time; no one needs be budgeted for. Although this for me personally is currently pretty hard on living situation stability / bills; what with having been out of work since oct last year..I know that money isn't but fake credits doled out equitably to maintain a broken racist sexist classist power structure and preserve both false scarcity and gross overproduction waste both. Everything money touches is tainted by its history as well as how it is currently a tool for the open mass oppression of our peoples.
I as a candidate feel much more pure having less to do with it until possibly reaching executive power & have the means to reveal the fudge while seeing our current monies rapidly redistributed from the wealthy to the poor via a basic income; universal healthcare; job guarantee with fair wages & hours and more reparative budgeting/distribution.
