STATE VIOLENCE SHAMEORIALS
ATLANTA --- This city, as across these cursed capitalistic hate-states of this continent; has a regretful grotesque history of the state committing violence against its people. These acts are happening with such regular occurrence that normalization begins to fester inside our collective consciousness. We have extremely normalized violence like not providing for public safety; we have goons currently employed by the city all too often shooting at & often killing denizens. These officials are typically found to have been following protocol & infuriatingly/unjustly able to get off with minor consequence; considering their actions.
Since we would be,as a society, moving past a state permissive of sanctioned violence baked into our laws & procedures; these incidents should be memorialized at the location of each as well as museum centers with more general histories of collective atrocities which happened when we still had a murderous police state. My campaign believes that this is the socially conscientious choice to pay respects to those lost because of the pig-headed mistakes of our past/current present.
'The Rayshard Brooks Peace Center' has already been proposed & envisioned by our community; such structures/institutions should inform & be a guide for other future centers throughout the city to explain the storied deplorable blood-lust of our old society which, should we elect Alex Barrella for Mayor of Atlanta on November 2nd 2021; we can rapidly collectively move away from with bold new policy of pacifism in place of force.
